Sederkloof Hiking

There are a number of beautiful hiking trails on Sederkloof Farm,and our guests are taken on guided walks on a daily basis.

The hike up Sederkloof to the vary rare Cedar Trees (Widdringtonia Schwarzii) only found in the Baviaanskloof, is our most popular hike.

Some trails take you steeply up to the mountain plateau and down again to the valley.

Hike through different biomes (7 of South Africa's 8 biomes are present in the general Baviaanskloof area), with spectacular views, amazing geological formations and regular sightings of gemsbok, kudu, klipspringer, black eagles, etc.
